In today’s dynamic environment, managers are responsible for many responsibilities, including planning, organizing, directing and controlling, among which, skill in planning is considered the basis of success in other managerial tasks. Correctly understanding the place of planning and getting familiar with its types – from strategic and operational planning to short-term, medium-term and long-term plans – is essential for every manager.Also, the close connection of planning and control in the management process doubles the importance of this skill.
The training course “Planning methods for managers” is designed with the aim of familiarizing managers with new concepts of planning, applied techniques at the individual and organizational level, such as the Moscow model, the Eisenhower matrix, the balanced scorecard (BSC) and the OKR method.This course, while providing tips on continuous revision of plans (rolling planning), using concrete examples and an interactive atmosphere, helps managers to develop accurate, flexible and effective plans to advance their organization’s goals.
